Terms of use.

01Acceptance

This website is run by Metro Group of Industries (Metro Plastic Industries Ltd and Metro Steel Mills Ltd). By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02Using the website

You may use this website to learn about our products and to contact us. You must not:

• use it in a way that breaks the law or harms the site, its users or us;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, or interfere with its security features;
• send spam, malicious code or false information through the quote form;
• copy large parts of the site, or scrape it by automated means, without our written permission.

03Product information and quotes

Product descriptions, sizes, classes, pressure ratings and standards on this site are given for general guidance. Our range and specifications can change, and minor variations are normal in manufacturing. Always confirm the specification for your project with our sales team.

A quote request sent through this website is an enquiry, not an order. Prices, availability and delivery are confirmed only in a written quotation or order confirmation from Metro, which will be subject to our terms of sale.

References to Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) certification apply only to the products we list as certified, to the standard named. Information on this site is not engineering or design advice; structural and plumbing designs should be prepared and checked by a qualified engineer.

04Intellectual property

The Metro name and logos, the text, product photographs and other content on this site belong to Metro Group of Industries or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business use, but you may not reuse them commercially without our written permission. Website design and build by Zyne Ventures.

05No warranty

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or free of viruses, or that every detail is complete and up to date.

06Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Metro is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our liability for products we supply is governed by our quotation, order confirmation and terms of sale.

07Links to other sites

The site links to third-party services such as Facebook and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data; their own terms and policies apply.

08Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. The courts of Tanzania, sitting in Dar es Salaam, have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
