Founded in 1999, Metro Group Of Industries is known to have one of the most successful and trusted companies based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with highly engaged customer across the African continent.
Metro Group of Industries comprises of two modern state of the art manufacturing plants namely, Metro Plastic Industries Ltd - Manufactures of high-quality PVC & HDPE building materials and Metro Steel Mills - Manufacturers of iron bars certified with Tanzania Bureau of Standards.
Through our engaged employees, empowered teams and collaborative leadership we are in a constant endeavor of making things better for the environment, society, customers, suppliers and employees. Anchored by local workforce and experts from different part of the world working for both the companies, we take pride in fostering an inspiring workplace with values that help each of us in becoming better individuals.
Since the establishment of Metro Steel Mills Ltd and Metro Plastic Industries Ltd, we have provided hundreds of jobs with level of security and benefits unprecedented in the region. Metro Plastic Industries Limited was awarded 2015 President's Manufacturer of the Year Award (PMAYA)' in recognition of its quality driven and consumer focused approach.
Being socially responsible, Metro Group of Industries have been actively involved with various NGO's namely Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania, Lions Club International and Rotaract Club to name a few along with Governmental organizations sponsoring and assisting various programs for the development of Tanzanian community.
